- State High School about $300 pa
NOTE: State primary schools have no official tuition fee and the costs given here are approximate additional costs such as stationary, excursions, etc.
Total for a medium-tier private secondary school: $10-12,000 per annum, or approximately $250 per week.

In Australia, most income including salary or wages and government benefits are paid directly into a bank account.
You should open a bank account within six weeks of your arrival, as you usually need only your passport as identification.
